    LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — More than 100 people filled the parking lot outside the Lancaster field office of Republican Congressman Chris Collins, touting a message now familiar: They want to hear from their representative, in person, at a town hall meeting.

    WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Williamsville man is accused of stealing roughly $2,500 in merchandise from Sears at the Eastern Hills Mall.
    New York State Police arrested Justin Kendrick and charged him with grand larceny. Kendrick was an employee of the store.

    HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in the Town of Hamburg are looking for help finding a 15-year-old girl.
    Officials believe Riley McCoy chose to leave home on foot. She was last seen at home around 11 p.m. Friday night.

    WHITTIER, Calif. (AP) — Officials say a California police officer was killed and another wounded in a shooting while they were trying to help a man who had been in a traffic accident in Whittier.

    LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man was found stabbed in Lewiston and the suspect has been charged.
    Early Monday morning, Evan Stafford, 27, was found lying in a driveway on Indian Hill Rd., according to Lewiston police.
    Police approached him, and they say he had “numerous lacerations to his torso.”

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is in serious condition after being pulled from a burning vehicle.
    Police say two cars hit head-on and then crashed into a third vehicle at the corner of Goodyear and East Ferry just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
    One of the cars caught on fire with an unconscious passenger inside. Three officers pulled the 20-year-old man out. He is in serious condition at ECMC.

    Two men attacked by group near Elmwood and Allen
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man and a good samaritan who tried to help him, were injured during an assault this weekend.
    Buffalo Police say at least four men jumped a man around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, near Elmwood Ave. and Allen St.
    Officers tell News 4 a passerby tried to step in to help but was also assaulted by the suspects.
    Police say the two men were injured but not seriously. The good samaritan did end up going to a Niagara County Hospital.
