    On Wednesday morning, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says a 60-year-old Forestville man’s vehicle spun out of control on Route 219 in Ashford. It was struck by a southbound van driven by a 46-year-old Amherst resident.

    TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A woman was accused of speeding while drunk, and having a stun gun in the City of Tonawanda.
    Renee Thornton, 28, was stopped by police, who said she was driving 49 MPH in a 30 MPH zone on Main St.
    Police say Thornton showed signs of intoxication and told them she had been drinking “mixed drinks on Allen St.” Authorities say they found a pink electronic stun gun in her vehicle.

    Attica police say an alleged victim of Leonard Hahn IV informed a school official about what he allegedly did.
    After this, another victim came forward, resulting in multiple charges against Hahn, police say. The alleged victims were younger than 11 years old.
    According to police, Hahn had previous associations with the victims.

    TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — At 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, Town of Tonawanda Police were called to Niagara Falls Blvd. and Thistle Ave. for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
    The pedestrian is a 22-year-old woman who was transported to ECMC. She was in stable condition.

    The crash happened just before 6 p.m. Tuesday on Route 5 in Dunkirk.
    Police say an EmergyCare ambulance was traveling eastbound on Route 5 when it left the roadway, entered a ditch and struck a culvert.
    The ambulance was transporting 77-year-old Arthur McArthur of Dunkirk from a hospital in Pittsburgh to a nursing home in Chautauqua County. McCarthur was pronounced dead at the scene.
