    Man admits to stealing more than $86,000 from former employer
    ARCADE, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Arcade man has admitted to stealing more than $86,000 from his former employer.
    Justin Corbett, 36, was in possession of money belonging to Kistner Concrete Products for nearly two years. He was a customer service representative there.
    Corbett faces a maximum sentence of 5-15 years in jail when sentenced on April 7.
    Due to the fact that he is a Canadian citizen, Corbett could also face immigration consequences.

    WNY Muslims speak out following immigration order
    WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB)- Western New Yorkers resisting President Trump’s executive order on immigration was a welcome sight for Founder of Western New York Muslims, Faizan Haq.
    “16 Attorney Generals of different states have called it unconstitutional. And it is, in it’s spirit, it is unconstitutional,” Haq said of the executive order, which is being challenged in federal court.
    The order suspends refugees from seven Muslim-majority countries for coming to the U.S.

    Buffalo man indicted on charges of murder, criminal weapon possession
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has been indicted on charges of murder and criminal weapon possession.
    Prosecutors say Daren Alexis, 33, fatally shot Jadero Kelley, 26, in the vicinity of 128 French St. last August.
    Alexis pleaded not guilty to the charges and was jailed without bail.
    If convicted of the charges, he could spend up to 25 years to life in prison.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A former Erie County Sheriff’s deputy received a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to drug possession last month.
    Prosecutors said Adam Fiegl, 33, took bribes and brought Suboxone to inmates at the Erie County Holding Center. Fiegl did face bribery and contraband charges, but as part of a plea deal, they were dismissed.
    Another part of the plea deal was that he was allowed to resign from the Sheriff’s Office. Originally, he was terminated.

    CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A quick change scam frequenting a number of local businesses has Cheektowaga police looking for two people.
    The first person is described as a black man in his late 40s or early 50s. He stands at approximately 5’11” and weighs 270 lbs.
    The second person is described as a light-skinned black man in his 40s with a goatee. He is roughly 6’1″ and 190 lbs.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Authorities are looking for a man accused of violating his probation.
    Thomas Capitano, 30, was originally charged with felony DWI. He is described as 5’7″ and approximately 200 lbs. Capitano has black hair and brown eyes.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — More than 1500 immigrants relocating to Erie County in the last year are still trying to figure out what it’s like to live in America.
    “There seems to be a willingness to get along, to try to integrate these refugees into our population,” said Kevin Hardwick, a Republican Erie County Legislator.

    Driver arrested after Amherst car chase
    AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — News 4 is working to learn more about the driver who led Amherst police on a chase in a stolen car.
    The pursuit started Sunday afternoon in the Main St. and Bailey Ave. area.
    It ended in Buffalo at the intersection of Gesland and Fillmore. That is just north of Route 33.
    Amherst police arrested the 25-year-old driver. They say the suspect crashed into a UB patrol car and two other vehicles.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — Delta Air Lines has grounded its domestic flights because of “automation issues.”
    That’s according to an advisory Sunday by the Federal Aviation Administration.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — Delta flights are departing and a ground stop has been lifted after a systems outage Sunday night led to departure delays and cancellations.
