• Police investigating fatal fire in Wellsville

  WELLSVILLE, N.Y.(WIVB)- Crews responded to a house fire at 28 South Broad Street in the Town of Wellsville late Friday afternoon.
  Firefighters located 71 year-old Victor Fiske in the home and transported him to Jones Memorial Hospital. Fiske was later pronounced deceased.
  The Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office is performing an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
  Crews returned to the scene Saturday morning to further investigate.

  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) —There are many stories being told about the Blizzard of 77 this week. This one however is unique. It doesn’t involve death and destruction of people, rather the chaos that erupted at the Buffalo Zoo 40 years ago. It turns out, a few reindeer were taking advantage of a snowy situation.
  During the Blizzard of 77 an estimated 35 feet of snow buried parts of the city, including the Buffalo Zoo.

• City and County prepare for weekend snowstorm

  BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Crews in the City of Buffalo and Erie County are prepping for the snow expected to hit Buffalo this weekend.
  The city is sending out crews early Saturday morning to start treating the roads.
  City officials tell News 4 they have a good salt reserve since it’s been a mild winter.

• New face of Gerber is 7-month-old baby from Ohio

  FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — A 7-month-old boy from Ohio is the new face of Gerber baby products.
  Though he probably won’t be saying much anytime soon, the spokesbaby named Riley has an “infectious laugh and big, gummy smile,” according to his mom, Kristen Shines.
  Gerber announced Thursday that Riley, who lives with his family in Lewis Center, beat out more than 110,000 other entries. He now has the chance to star in a future ad.
