    Starting this fall, students with 90 credits or more can’t request on-campus housing.

    Accused drug dealer pleads ‘not guilty’ to murder charge
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — If he is convicted of murder, a Buffalo man could spend 25 years-to-life in prison.
    Daryl Bland, 22, pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including murder, criminal weapon possession and criminal controlled substance possession. He is accused of killing 31-year-old Gowanda resident Dustin Sharp.
    The incident allegedly occurred around 12:50 a.m. on October 26. Prosecutors say Bland was selling heroin out of a Gowanda residence.

    He passed away unexpectedly Monday after surgery at Mercy Hospital.
    Keane served as the first Regional Manager in Hillary Clinton’s Buffalo office after she was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2000.
    He also ran for County Executive in 2007, and lost to Chris Collins.
    Keane was 70 years old.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After telling others that he was a member of comedian Kevin Hart’s entourage, and using stolen credit cards to buy tickets, Leland Burks was sentenced to three and one-third to seven years in jail.
    In September, Burks, 56, admitted to fraud crimes.
    The Buffalo man booked hotel rooms in the city with the stolen cards. He reaped nearly $13,000 in fraudulently obtained services and goods.
    Burks was sentenced on Tuesday.

    FLINT, Mich. (AP) — The Michigan attorney general is announcing more criminal charges in the Flint water investigation.
    Nine people so far have been charged in an investigation of Flint’s lead-tainted water system and an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease. Those nine are eight current or former state employees and a Flint water plant employee.

    Frozen hydrants delay fire crews in Niagara Falls
    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — News 4 is working to find out what caused a house fire in Niagara Falls Tuesday morning.
    The fire broke out in a vacant home on the 1300 block of Ashland Ave. around 5:15 a.m. It spread to a neighboring home, causing minor damage there, according to fire officials.
    Crews had trouble putting it out due to a number of frozen hydrants.
    The people living in the home were allowed to re-enter the building.
    No one was hurt.

    NEW YORK (AP) — The late rapper Tupac Shakur and Seattle-based rockers Pearl Jam lead a class of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees that also include folkie Joan Baez and 1970s favorites Journey, Yes and Electric Light Orchestra.
