    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has charged six people with distributing heroin in and around the City of Niagara Falls.
    A two-year investigation led to the arrests of the following:
    Juan J. Martinez, 39
    Cruz Morales, 37
    Raymond Jiminez Jr., 57
    Jose Corchado-Cruz, 45
    Jeremy Montanez, 21
    Jason Davis, 39
    Davis was already incarcerated. They were all charged with criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Investigation by Public Safety into an incident at Canisius College has finished up, according to College President John Hurley.

    2 charged in dog theft after vehicle crash
    LEROY, N.Y. (WIVB) — After they were involved in a vehicle crash, two people were charged with stealing a dog from an animal shelter.
    Shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office received word of a complaint sent to LeRoy police. A suspicious condition at a Kwik Fill station on Route 5 was reported, as well as a crash on Keeney Rd.
    As authorities investigated, they learned that the same people were involved in the crash and the suspicious condition.

    About 8 million of the Cuisinart products are being recalled. Small metal pieces can break off into processed food if the blades crack.

    BLASDELL, N.Y. (WIVB) — We’re working to learn what led to a deadly accident along the Lake Avenue train tracks.
    CSX representatives tell News 4 a woman was hit while walking around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
    The train was travelling from Willard, Ohio to Syracuse. That train had two locomotives and 87 freight cars. Of those freight cars, 70 of them were loaded with things like flour, corn syrup, telephone poles and steel beams.

    Gasport man accused of killing 6-month-old son
    GASPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara County father is accused of killing his baby boy. Twenty five year old Dillon Hossbach of Gasport faced arraignment today.
    He has been indicted on murder and manslaughter charges. Hossbach pleaded not guilty to the charges.
    Investigators believe he killed his six-month old son William Hossbach, who the family called “Liam.”
