    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A former Erie County Sheriff’s deputy could spend up to one year in jail.
    Adam Fiegl pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a controlled substance Friday.
    Prosecutors said he took bribes and brought Suboxone to inmates at the holding center. Suboxone is used to treat opioid addiction.

    DETROIT (AP) — Ford is recalling more than 680,000 midsize sedans mainly in North America because the front seat belts may not hold people in a crash.
    The recall covers certain 2013 to 2016 Ford Fusion, 2013 to 2015 Lincoln MKZ and 2015 and 2016 Ford Mondeo cars.

    LOS ANGELES (AP) — Prosecutors have decided not to charge Los Angeles police officers with a crime in the fatal shooting of a homeless black man on Skid Row last year.
