    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two hundred volunteers spent Thanksgiving morning preparing meals and packing them in bags.
    “We’re just bagging up the turkeys, the pies, the silverware, the cranberry sauce. I’ve been doing it for 3 or 4 years and I love to volunteer I give back to the community and it makes me feel good,” said Joan Lee, volunteer.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Buffalo hosted it’s 10th annual Thanksgiving day dinner today.
    The annual event is hosted by Orthodox Action, which is a ministry of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Dozens of people in need ate a Thanksgiving meal for free.

    Hundreds of volunteers help City Mission deliver thousands of Thanksgiving meals
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – As many of us dig into our big Thanksgiving feasts with our families, it’s easy to forget how many others in our community are less fortunate, but hundreds of volunteers spent their Thanksgiving morning doing what they could to feed those in need.
    This marks the 15th year for the Thanksgiving meal delivery service through the City Mission. When the initiative started, volunteers delivered about 500 meals. This year, they delivered about 5,500 meals before noon.

    ELBA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A three-alarm fire destroyed an onion storage and packaging facility in Genesee County, and had as many as 100 departments from five counties involved.

    JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in Jamestown are looking for witnesses who may have information on an early morning homicide.
    Officers say shots were fired during a fight at 129 Main Street just after 4 a.m. One person has died.

    CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WKRN) – A child injured in the devastating Chattanooga school bus crash died Wednesday night, according to police.
