    Lucas Mitten, 29, is six feet tall, 160 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes.
    He is wanted by police forces in Lewiston, Hamburg, and the towns of Tonawanda and Niagara on a slew of charges.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After being convicted of sexually assaulting and fatally beating a five-year-old, Matthew Kuzdzal, 29, is getting a new trial.
    Kuzdzal was accused of committing the acts against his girlfriend’s son, Eain Brooks, in 2013. He was convicted of the crimes the following year, and sentenced to 50 years-to-life in prison.

    TOKYO (AP) — An earthquake with preliminary magnitude of 7.3 has struck off the coast of Fukushima prefecture in Japan. A tsunami warning for waves of up to three meters (10 feet) has been issued.
    The Japan Meteorological Agency says the quake struck around 6 a.m at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles).
    Fukushima prefecture is north of Tokyo and home to the nuclear power plant that was destroyed by a huge tsunami following an offshore earthquake in 2011.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police are investigating why two loaded handguns and a mask were found inside a car at the Peace Bridge.
    It happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
    Police say two men and a woman were in the car. They told customs officers they made a wrong turn and wanted to head back into the United States, but their vehicle was sent for additional examination.

    HARTLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara County man has been accused of shooting a bedroom window while hunting Sunday morning.
    Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Hosmer Rd. in Hartland after a caller reported a shot fired at her window while she was in the room.

    Construction workers rescued from building
    BUFFALO (WIVB) –  Two construction workers had to be rescued from the side of a building early Monday morning.
    Buffalo fire was called to the corner of Main and High Streets just before 7 a.m.
    Officials tell us the workers became trapped on the exterior of UB’s Jacob’s School of Medicine several stories in the air.
    A pully malfunction apparently caused one side of a long platform to give way. The workers, who were in harnesses, were hanging for a short time.
