    “City on the rise” mural debuts in downtown Buffalo
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Grab your selfie sticks and head to the Washington Market. There’s a new “Greetings from Buffalo mural” on the side of the building.
    The people behind it hope your pictures with the postcard, will help the Queen City go viral.
    Local artist Casey Milbrand says the concept is “City on the rise.” He has been planning the mural since April, and has spent the last month bringing it to life.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Parents and children got a chance to choose from more than 700 coats Saturday thanks to the Colvin Cleaners Distribution Center on Elmwood Avenue.
    Those in need got a chance to take home coats, hats, and gloves all for free!
    Paul Billoni started the Coats for Kids program more than 20 years ago. He wanted to help families in need prepare for the tough winter ahead.
    Throughout the years, the program has distributed more than 75,000 winter coats.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) —Re-tree Western New York has been working tirelessly for the last two years in an effort to bring Buffalo back to what it was before the October storm of 2006.

    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buddy is a 5-year-old pit bull the post office says attacked one of their carriers on Halloween.

    The local USPS office contacted animal control for help.
