    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB)- Sizable raises in the 2017 proposed city budget for Niagara Falls aren’t being met with welcome arms from everyone.
    “To me it’s very unrealistic,” City Council member Kenny Tompkins told News 4.

    Suspect in custody after Wheatfield shelter in place incident
    WHEATFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) — A shelter in place is in effect on Niagara Falls Blvd. between Ward Rd. and Mavis Dr. in Wheatfield.
    The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office cited NY Alert in saying that the situation is due to a police incident.

    The fire started around 2:30 a.m. Monday in the air filtration system.
