    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police are investigating multiple tire slashings on the city’s west side.
    Saturday morning, the Buffalo Police Department sent a tweet reporting the crimes happening on three streets:Richmond Avenue, Bird Avenue and Manchester Place.Police have not said how many cars were hit.

    CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Saturday morning dozens of veterans began a trip of a lifetime, to see tributes to their service to America.
    The newly reorganized Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight held a sendoff ceremony at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, before the veterans boarded the flight for Baltimore.
    The vets will see memorials for World War II, the Korean War, and the conflict in Vietnam.Volunteers accompany each vet.
    The return flight is set for Saturday evening.
