    Towering Tall: Brave Williams battles high school, sports and attention
    EVANS, N.Y. (WIVB)  – It’s hard to miss Brave Williams.
    At seven-foot-one, 390 pounds–this 17-year old is quite possible the biggest kid in the country.
    “When I was younger when people would ask me (about my height) and it would get overwhelming and I would get mad,” the Lake Shore High School senior said. “And I couldn’t take it out in basketball or anything so I started playing football and once I could hit someone…yeah, I started playing.&

    Woman at ECMC after crashing into North Tonawanda building
    NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Fire officials say a woman was rushed to the hospital after crashing her SUV into a building Saturday morning.
    The crash happened just before 8 a.m. A female passenger in her 40’s drove her car into a building on Niagara Falls Boulevard, causing significant damage. The woman was taken to ECMC with injuries that appear to be non-life threatening.
    Fire officials say it is unclear what caused the crash. Police are investigating.

    KENMORE, N.Y. (WIVB) — After being closed for several days, La Davina reopened its doors. On its first day back, the restaurant saw a steady stream of customers throughout Friday.
    “‘I’m glad it’s reopened, because it’s good food and it brings the community together,” said Larry Shampine. “Where else can you go? You got Mighty Taco and Taco Bell, but this is authentic, and these are people that are trying to better their lives.”
