    Sheriff: Woman found drinking with toddler outside county office building
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County Sheriff’s deputies say a Buffalo woman was seen with a toddler, drinking outside a county office building.
    Authorities responded to a call at 43 Court St. on Monday afternoon.
    There, they found Luanne Isaacs, 32, in an allegedly intoxicated state.
    The toddler was returned to its mother and Isaacs was arrested.
    She faces charges of disorderly conduct, drinking in public and endangering the welfare of a child.

    LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — As they investigate eight cases of Legionellosis, or Legionnaires’ disease, in the community, the Niagara County Department of Health is looking for the source of the disease.
    Recently, a cooling tower at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport tested positive for high levels of Legionella. The levels exceeded 1,000 colony-forming units of bacteria per milliliter (1,000 CFU/mL).
