    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- It’s been almost a year and a half since three-year-old Maksym Sugorovskiy was killed. A car went off the 198 and hit his family as they walked along Ring Road in Delaware Park.
    The driver was never charged in the accident but the Sugorovskiy family included him in a lawsuit against the City of Buffalo and Erie County. Another lawsuit was filed against New York State in the Court of Claims.

    ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — New norms are coming to New Era Field. That’s how the Bills are referring to a security revamp.
    Bills fans heading to the home opener will be seeing more security.  The Erie County Sheriff’s office says they’re increasing the presence of both uniformed and plain clothed deputies they’ll have on hand.

    BUFFALO, NY (WIVB)-  Buffalo Police and Crimestoppers are putting up a $2,500 reward for information in the murder of a Riverside man.
    John Stein was gunned down in his driveway on Humphrey Street on December 13, 2013.
    The Buffalo Police are providing video that shows the victim’s white vehicle in his driveway.  Two suspects pull up in an SUV and one suspect walks down the driveway and shoots Stein.

    Woman wanted for stealing thousands from NF Boulevard store
    AMHERST, NY (WIVB) –  Amherst Police are asking for help identifying a woman who is suspected of stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from a Niagara Falls Boulevard store.
    Security footage shows a white female that may be driving a white vehicle or a red SUV.
    Police say the woman returned to the store on several occasions.

    Lakewood man charged with vehicular manslaughter
    ELLERY, NY (WIVB) –  Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies have charged Jude Gagliano, 29, with vehicular manslaughter following a fatal crash on September 2, 2016.
    A warrant was issued for Gagliano, who lives in Lakewood, in connection with the crash at Sinclair Drive and Route 389 in the Town of Ellery.
    He is charged with vehicular manslaughter in the 2nd degree, driving while intoxicated and failing to stop at a stop sign.
    Charles Clutter, 22, of Stockton, died in that crash.
