    Buffalo man charged after allegedly threatening police with pipe bombs
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police have accused a Buffalo man of falsely reporting an incident and other charges after they say he threatened them with pipe bombs.
    Buffalo Police say they received a call from Jason Claar, 39, just before 6 p.m. Tuesday. During the phone call, Claar told police that there were eight pipe bombs inside the South District police station, according to officials.

    Aaron Wellman, 40, was driving the roller onto a trailer on Broadway when he lost control, according to New York State Police. At this time, the roller overturned off the trailer, leaving Wellman unresponsive.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — The Food and Drug Administration wants all U.S. blood banks to start screening for Zika virus, a major expansion intended to protect the nation’s blood supply from the mosquito-borne disease.
