    LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — A 13-year-old boy fishing with his father on a New Jersey beach has reeled in a 200-pound shark.
    A video posted on Facebook on Sunday shows Gianni Mandile pulling the fish most of the way in before dad Joseph Mandile grabs the shark’s tail and pulls it onto the sand while taking care not to get bit.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — A teacher working at an Orleans County school was charged with receipt and possession of child pornography.
    Rochester resident Steven Choi, 41, taught English at the Holley Central School District. Prosecutors say that a criminal complaint accused Choi of looking at child porn online.
    Investigators who examined his computer say they found sexually explicit pictures of prepubescent girls on it.

    Killer confesses to manslaughter on second day of trial
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — On the second day of a murder trial, 44-year-old Buffalo man Victor Irizarry has confessed to his crime.
    On September 12 of last year, Irizarry fatally shot Buffalo resident Nicholas Jozens in the abdomen on Clinton St. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter in court Friday.
    When sentenced on August 31, Irizarry could spend up to 25 years in prison.
