    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) —Released just 4 days ago, Pokémon Go is taking over the gaming scene. Local gamers told News 4 what’s got them hooked.
    Tony Dashner, a local gamer said, “It’s like being kids again, it’s awesome!”
    Originating in 1996, Pokémon has resurfaced! Starting as a video game, the franchise has covered all bases from a television show to trading cards now it’s being welcomed to 2016 as an app.

    Teen shot early Sunday in Amherst
    AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 17 year old is recovering from a gunshot wound Sunday morning.
    Police were called to Main Street across from the University at Buffalo South Campus where the teen was shot.
    The victim was shot in the leg; police expect the person to survive.
    Police have not released any other information about the victim; they’re asking witnesses to call them at (716) 689-1322.

    “Right now I don’t have no faith, but all I can say is but God, because right now I can’t understand why he took her away from us so soon,” said a family member of Rian Davis.
    One-year-old Rian Davis was run over by a car Thursday night. Family members told News 4 she was at her uncles house, just up the street when the accident happened.

The middle of camp was highlighted by the “Blue and Gold” scrimmage which took place on Saturday afternoon at HarborCenter in front of a crowd of over 1,600.
    While the Blue team won the game 5-3, all eyes were on first-round pick Alexander Nylander, who scored twice in the contest on a pair of impressive penalty
