    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Crews began paving Niagara Street Saturday as part of an ongoing $28.7 million redevelopment project.

    MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (WIVB) — General Mills announced a voluntary recall of various Nature Valley bars following a recall of SunOpta sunflower kernels.
    SunOpta has issued an ongoing national recall of sunflower kernels due to a possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. While General Mills has received no reports of confirmed illnesses, the following bars containing sunflower kernels have been recalled:

    ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Pharmacies in New York are now allowed to collect and dispose of unwanted medication so consumers won’t pollute waterways by flushing drugs down the toilet.
