    NY may allow pets to be buried with people
     
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)  — A recently passed bill in the New York State Senate could allow pets to buried with people – or people to be buried with pets.
    The bill would would allow non-religious cemeteries to allow people the option of being buried with cremated remains of a dog, cat, or any other domesticated animal. If the bill becomes reality, the burials would be required to happen at the same time. Supporters expect many pet owners will embrace it.

    Bounce house flies away, hitting power lines in Niagara County
    NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVB) — A family in Niagara County was enjoying a birthday party in their backyard Saturday when a bounce house flew away.
    The family said a big gust of wind swept the bounce house off of the ground and eventually landed on some power lines. The video captured by the family shows sparks coming from the transmission tower.

    Community comes out to support Walk in Lauren’s Shoes 5K
    HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) – Hundreds of people showed up to support Western New Yorkers with cerebral palsy.
    The Walk, Run, Roll in Lauren’s Shoes 5K was held at Woodlawn Beach Saturday. Participants were encouraged to wear ankle weights, to show them how it feels to walk and run with CP.
