(WIVB)- Amherst police and East Amherst firefighters responded to a fire at Paradise park on Paradise Road Saturday afternoon. The playground was fully involved upon crews arriving to the scene and damage is estimated at over $50,000.Amherst police are investigating the fire and anyone with information is asked to call 689-1311.

    TOWN OF HARTLAND, N.Y. (WIVB)- The Niagara County Sheriff Office say a man was found trapped underneath a tractor and unresponsive on Seaman Road Saturday morning.
    Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious man trapped under a tractor with an attached haybine just before 10 a.m.
    Larry Cooper, 68, was later pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe Cooper was operating the equipment when there was some kind of mechanical failure.

    Police investigate Saturday morning shooting near ECMC
    Buffalo, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police are seeking information about a shooting that happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
    Officers were called to Durham Avenue, a block east of Grider Street, where they found as many as three people shot during a large gathering in the area of a parking lot.
    Investigators believe all the victims will survive.
