    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The 18-year-old who ran against Carl Paladino for a spot on the Buffalo Public School Board, and later lost, has been arrested.
    Buffalo Police accused Austin Harig of giving three minors alcohol and allowing them to smoke marijuana at his home. He was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and second-degree criminal nuisance.
    Harig claims he was arrested at 4 a.m. Wednesday, but police say it was actually 4 p.m.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WIVB) — Women and black people in the U.S. historically make less than white men. Researchers at Harvard University looked at the gap specifically for doctors.
    White, male doctors had the highest average income, at more than $250,000. Black, male doctors earned $65,000 less than that at $188,000 a year.
    Add in gender and the gap becomes even bigger.
