    Woman admits to killing her 5-month-old daughter
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A mother in Buffalo admitted to inflicting fatal injuries upon her daughter, ending a court case that has been underway since the baby’s death in September.
    Officials announced 23-year-old Denay Foster pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter on Monday. The charges are reduced from the second-degree murder charges she faced at the time of her arrest.

    AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — An automated phone call went out to parents on Monday afternoon detailing a lockdown situation at Sweet Home High School.
    School officials confirmed to News 4 the school entered into lockdown around 2:30 p.m., but said all students were safe and secure. Amherst Police said they were responding to an incident in the area, later announcing they received a report of an emergency in the school.

    The shooting occurred just after midnight, leaving the man dead at the scene.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- It’s been nearly one year since a three year old boy died in a tragic accident at Delaware Park. Maksym Sugorovskiy was walking with his family along Ring Rd. when a car went off the 198 and hit the family.
    Maksym died from his injuries, his sister Stephanie suffered a head injury and two broken legs.
