    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Authorities are searching Buffalo and the western New York area now for a man accused of distributing narcotics in the area, police say.
    Officers say 33-year-old David Mitchell is wanted by U.S. Marshals and more after he absconded his parole and allegedly dealt with illegal drugs. In the search, police in connection with Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $1,000.

    WASHINGTON (AP modified) — President Barack Obama says police officers receiving the Medal of Valor demonstrate how loving one’s country means loving one another.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The United States Postal Service has introduced two new initiatives to help prevent dog attacks amid National Dog Bite Prevention Week.
    This past year, more than 6,500 postal workers were attacked by dogs while on duty. The Postal Service says 69 of those attacks were in western New York.

    BOSTON (AP) — A cancer patient has received the first penis transplant in the United States, a Boston hospital said Monday.
