    FREWSBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — Residents of Chautauqua County will get a chance to learn how to use naloxone at an opioid overdose response training session in Frewsburg next week.
    The free session is open to the public and will teach residents how to use naloxone, or as it also goes by, Narcan, in the case of an opioid overdose.
    Skills taught by the Strength of Support (S.O.S.) group will include recognizing an overdose, noticing risk factors, rescue breathing and naloxone administration.

    DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) — A local man is recovering in the hospital after police say his spouse stabbed him in the chest with a knife.

    ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The state of New York has begun suspending the registrations of vehicles driven by persistent toll evaders in an effort to make sure motorists don’t try to cheat the system.
