    2-alarm fire destroys home in Getzville
    GETZVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB)- Multiple crews battled a 2-alarm fire on Londonderry Lane in Getzville Sunday afternoon.
    Chris Kaplewicz, Getzville Assistant Chief, tells News 4 that the fire started shortly after noon on the back deck before spreading to the home.
    No one was home at the time of the fire. One firefighter did receive a minor hand injury.
    Investigators are unsure what caused the fire at this time but say a grill on the back deck may have started it.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo Police say a 25-year-old man is in custody following an apparent suicide and shooting Sunday morning.
    Police responded to a shooting call just after 10 a.m. to the first block of Krupp street. Upon arrival officers located a deceased male with a self inflicted wound and another male struck by gunfire.
    Detectives believe the suspect and shooting victim are known to each other.
    The victim was transported to ECMC where he’s listed in critical condition.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After a man was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Krupp Street Sunday morning, his brother took vengeance on a neighbor, according to sources.
    Buffalo Police say Daryl Rollins, 25, of Buffalo, shot Miguel Richardson, 47, sometime before 10 a.m. Sources tell News 4 that Rollins was upset over the fact that no one did anything after his brother had shot himself.

    Car becomes airborne during crash on the Thruway
    PEMBROKE, N.Y. (WIVB)- A driver is recovering after a serious crash on the Thruway, near Pembroke.
    It happened just before noon on Saturday.
    New York State Police tell News 4 the driver went off the road, became airborne, and then rolled over. The driver is in his mid-twenties.
    The man was taken to Strong Hospital in Rochester with non-serious injuries. A Trooper at the scene said the driver may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.

    Detectives say around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday multiple shots were fired. A 25 year old man from Buffalo was hit by gunfire.
    Police tell News 4 the victim was transported to ECMC where he is in serious condition.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Motorcyclists revved their engines in Erie County Saturday to raise awareness for motorcycle safety.
    There have been at least four motorcycle crashes in Western New York in just the last two weeks.
    Erie County officials joined with riders Saturday to call for more safety on the roadways, as part of the 26th annual “American Bikers Aimed Toward Education Ride.”
