    Just before 3:15 p.m., Johann Yarborough, 25, was struck by gunfire. Authorities initially said his injuries were life-threatening.
    Yarborough was taken to ECMC and pronounced dead a short time later.

    100-year-old human remains found on Chautauqua County property
    CHERRY CREEK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Last week, during a period of ground work in Cherry Creek, New York State Police say human remains were found on a resident’s property.
    The unearthed remains were found on Route 83 Wednesday. An anthropologist determined them to be around 100 years old.
    There were no signs of trauma on the remains, which were not specifically identified as particular body parts.
    State Police say the case is currently under investigation.

    AUSTIN (MEDIA GENERAL/AP) – A large weather system continues to dump heavy rain on Texas on Monday, causing flooding in several areas and shutting down schools and public transit.
    Houston has been hit the hardest, with parts of the metro area measuring up to 16 inches of rain in the past 24 hours as of Monday morning.
