    PINELLAS COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – Four students from a Florida high school were hospitalized after eating drug-laced candy, Pinellas school officials confirmed Monday.
    The incident happened at the Boca Ciega High School at around noon on Monday. According to the Pinellas County School District officials, a student brought the drug-laced gummy candy to school and passed it around.     ONEIDA, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say 22 people have been arrested after investigators intercepted packages containing drugs, guns and about $160,000 at a central New York mail sorting facility.
    State police and the U.S. Postal Service said Monday they seized the contraband during the investigation that began two weeks ago in the town of Cicero.

    Local Veterans honored for National POW/MIA Day
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — On Saturday the nation remembered those who were captured during times of war.
    Saturday was National Prisoner of War Day.
    The Western New York VA on Bailey Avenue held a ceremony Saturday afternoon honoring prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action.
    Those honored at the ceremony say it is not only a day to remember prisoners of war, but those who were also lost on the front lines.
