    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Fire crews were on scene for hours Saturday, investigating a blaze they’re calling “suspicious”.
    The fire commissioner says the blaze broke out just before 8 p.m. at an abandoned bar on Military Road between Lawn and Hertel. The commissioner says the fire went to an attached house, the damage to both sites is extensive.

    Blake Hamilton’s game-winner sends UB dancing again
    CLEVELAND, OH. (WIVB) — Blake Hamilton knocked down a three with 1.8 seconds left on the clock to send the UB men’s basketball team to the NCAA Tournament for a second straight year.
    Hamilton was actually injured earlier in the game, when he was shoved to the ground on a rebound and came up holding his shooting elbow gingerly.

    The 16 year-old male was treated and released from ECMC. The 15 year-old female victim was taken to ECMC where she later died.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Police are investigating a double shooting on Buffalo’s East Side.
    Police reported the investigation shortly before 9 o’clock Saturday night.
    The shooting happened on Lasalle Avenue near UB’s South Campus.

    Eighth-seeded UB women win MAC championship
    CLEVELAND, OH. (WIVB) — Stephanie Reid’s buzzer-beater in overtime sent UB to its first ever MAC Tournament title and gave the Bulls a berth in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
    The Bulls took down Central Michigan 73-71, becoming the first eighth seed in MAC Tournament history to win the tournament championship.
    Joanna Smith led the way with 23 points. Reid had 10 points, including the game-winner in OT.
