    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Singer Joey Feek of the country duo Joey and Rory has died after a long battle with cervical cancer.
    Joey, 40, passed away around 2:30 p.m. Friday in her hometown of Alexandria, Indiana.
    According to her husband Rory, who announced the news on his blog, This Life I Live, she died surrounded by loved ones, who were holding hands and praying.

    Driver crashes into pole and dies following Buffalo police chase
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo police say officers attempted to pull over a Jeep Liberty at Michigan Ave. and East North St. around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
    According to police the driver took off at a high rate of speed and officers began to pursue the driver. Moments later the Jeep crashed into a pole.
    The driver, a 21 year-old male from New York City, died a short time after the crash. His two passengers were transported to ECMC with apparent non-life threatening injuries.

    Niagara Falls fire injures 3 residents and kills dog
    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB)- Flames broke out at a home on Portage Avenue Friday night.
    Niagara Falls Fire dispatch says that the fire started in the first floor kitchen and spread through the home.
    Three residents were taken to Memorial Medical Center to be treated for smoke inhalation. The family dog was killed.
    Damages totaled $120,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

    Officers say Jesus Santana, 29, died to a gunshot to his head just over a week after sustaining the gunshot wound on Sep. 1, 2015 on Whitney Place.
