    980 bags of heroin seized in West Side raid
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo police Narcotics Squad detectives seized 980 bags of heroin in an apartment raid Friday afternoon.
    Detectives executed a search warrant for the lower front apartment in the 100 block of Fifteenth Street around 1:45 p.m. Friday. Along with the heroin, police found a small amount of marijuana, a scale, and packaging materials.

    Two-car accident in Buffalo kills one driver
     
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- A two car accident at Grider and E. Delavan injured one driver and killed the other Friday night around 10:30 p.m.
    Police say that a 21 year-old Buffalo man was traveling north on Grider when his Ford Edge struck a Chevy Equinox sending it into a pole.
    The driver of the Equinox was taken to ECMC where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries.

    EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB)-  Four people including three children were rescued from a mobile home that caught on fire Friday.
    Robert Stauber lives next door to the home. He said when he smelled burning rubber he began checking out out car, thinking it was something there; but then he saw smoke coming out of his neighbor’s home.

    EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Four people including three children were rescued from a mobile home that caught on fire Friday, but one of those victims is under investigation in connection with the fire.
    Someone called 911 about 4:20 p.m. Friday, seeing the fire at the mobile home park off Olean Road.
