    N. Falls man arrested after early morning homicide
    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB)- Niagara Falls Police responded to a stabbing call on Ontario Ave around 1:30 a.m.
    The first officer to arrive at the scene performed CPR on the victim, 26 year-old Troy Haslip, but he succumbed to his injuries. Police say he died of a single stab wound to the heart.
    William Swanson, 22, of Niagara Falls was charged with manslaughter in the first degree by detectives at approximately 1:00 p.m. in relation to this incident.

    PORTER, N.Y. (WIVB)-  The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 phone call reporting a shed on fire on Braley Road Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m.
    The resident of the home called 911 after being unable to enter the backyard shed following the discovery of the fire. Firefighters from the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene and were successful in extinguishing the blaze.
