    Rochester women arrested for prostitution in Clarence
    CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB)- The Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit has arrested two women for prostitution Thursday evening.
    It is alleged that 24 year-old Tyler Washington and 31 year-old Tina Saber traveled from Rochester to engage in prostitution in the Town of Clarence.

    Fire at Gigi’s Restaurant leaves $150,000 in damage
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Firefighters responded to fire call at a popular East Side restaurant early Saturday morning.
    Blondine Harvin, owner of Gigi’s, says that the fire started in the kitchen and that the restaurant suffered extensive damage inside.
    Buffalo Fire estimated $100,000 damage to the building and $50,000 damage to the contents.

    Buffalo, N.Y. (WIVB) — The South Park High School football team is in uncharted territory for a City of Buffalo Public School: the state final.
    The team arrived at school early Saturday morning, fresh off a 43-26 win over Maine-Endwell of Section IV. Players on that team had never lost before; the team had won 62 games in a row.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fleeing Afghan soldier, stopped on the Rainbow Bridge last year will depart the U.S. after a court decided to deport him.
    The latest decision comes after an appeals court granted asylum to two of the three soldiers who fled training in the U.S. to attempt to seek refuge in Canada. The third will officially face deportation.
