     NEW YORK (AP) — The Foo Fighters, Natalie Portman, U2 and other entertainers have canceled events in Paris following deadly terrorist attacks in the city.
    The Foo Fighters canceled the remaining dates of their European tour, including a planned show in Paris on Monday. Film distributor Mars said Saturday it had canceled promotional appearances for the film “Jane Got a Gun” starring Portman.

    PARIS, FRANCE (MEDIA GENERAL) — Facebook is making it easy for people to check on their loved ones who were in Paris during the deadly attacks.
    Safety Check allows users who are in the affected area to mark themselves as safe. It also allows users to see if anyone on their friends list is in the affected area, and if they are safe.

    SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Crews are working the scene of a major crash involving a runaway San Francisco tour bus on Friday afternoon.
    San Francisco police Ofc. Albie Esparza said it’s unclear what caused the crash, but police are investigating whether it was a mechanical failure, a medical emergency or the influence of drugs and alcohol.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Officers rushed to scene of a shooting in north Buffalo on Friday afternoon.
    Police say they at least four officers responded to the 400 block of Hinman where a man was grazed by gunfire.
    The wounds were minor, and officers say the man declined medical assistance.
    An investigation is continuing into the gunfire.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB-TV) – High winds and rising water from Lake Erie flooded the historic Commercial Slip tourist attraction at Buffalo’s Canalside.
    It happens at least several times a year, leaving debris behind in the slip. The Commercial Slip was where canal boats unloaded their goods after journeying up the Erie Canal.
    There was little if any damage to the site. Periodically the ruins of the old warehouses are re-pointed after taking yearly batterings from Mother Nature.
