    ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – Join an Erie County Park Ranger on a fall themed nature hike exploring the southern portion of the park.
    Rangers will be hiking a loop incorporating portions of the Ward Hill, Boy Scout, and Eternal Flame Trails while learning about the animals and trees of the forest.
    The hike will start at 10a.m. from the Eternal Flame Trailhead parking lot located on the west side of Rt. 277, south of the Chestnut Ridge Park main entrance.

    INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — An Indiana woman says her training in medieval combat helped her corner a home intruder.
    The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1OsFqSo) 43-year-old Karen Dolley of Indianapolis threw punches until she had the man cornered during the Thursday night break-in. She then kept him subdued with a Japanese sword she keeps near her bed.

    Two found dead in burnt out building in Buffalo
    Buffalo, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two men were found dead in a building that caught fire in Buffalo Saturday morning.
    The fire started shortly before 5 a.m. on Curtiss Street, which is near Broadway and Memorial on Buffalo’s east side.
    Firefighters had said the building was vacant, but they were concerned about people being inside; several people did make it out of the building and are being offered assistance by the Red Cross, according to Garnell Whitfield, Buffalo Fire Commissioner.
