    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Amtrak wants its passengers to travel light, and it’s unveiling a new policy to enforce it.
    Beginning Oct. 1, anyone with more than two regular sized carry-on bags will have to pay $20 per bag.
    Amtrak officials said the change will make travel less of a hassle, especially for upcoming holidays.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After more than 24-hours of rain in western New York, north Buffalo got a little more wet Wednesday morning.

    Lawmaker looks to improve sex offender notification
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- The information is out there, but people have to go looking for it.
    That’s what a resolution by Common Council President Darius Pridgen would try to change when it comes to neighbors being notified whenever a registered sex offender moves into a neighborhood.
    Currently, the NY State Sex Offender Registry, can be found on line and is updated on a regular basis, but public agencies are not required to issue notices to people who live near registered offenders.
