    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The country’s first year-round recreation center for children with weak immune systems opened Wednesday in Grand Rapids.
    “These families, their week immune systems put them at a really high risk of infection so often times they are isolated from the public.     CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Authorities are hoping a surveillance image will help catch the two men believed to be responsible for two car break-ins in one night.
    Police say the suspects managed to get inside two vehicles parked at Weco Tire & Auto Sales on Ludington Avenue on Sept. 7.

    Police say they investigated a crash that sent one car off the highway and into a tree, causing heavy damage to the front of the car.

    Around 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, landscapers heard meows coming from a pipe outside a home.
    First responders found a small cat stuck in a pipe that carries storm water from downspouts to the storm sewer under the street.
