    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – There was no shortage of corned beef and cabbage at the Buffalo Irish Festival Sunday.
    In its 34th year, the celebration included all things Irish with two stages of music, food and drinks an artisan market and more.
    The Buffalo Irish Festival caps off the highly successful Guinness Concert Series, both being held at RiverWorks.
    The weekend-long Festival attracted more than 10,000 visitors from all over Western New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Southern Ontario.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says he’s changing the name of the tallest mountain in North America from Mount McKinley to Denali.He’s giving the mountain its traditional Alaska Native name on the eve of a historic presidential visit to Alaska.
    Denali is an Athabascan word meaning “the high one.” The name has long been a sore spot for Alaskans, who have informally called the 20,320-foot mountain Denali for years.

    CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Hundreds of whiffle ball players turned up for the 10th Wiffalo tournament in Stiglemier Park Saturday.
    For the past 11 years, Wiffalo has been making a mark in WNY.
    All the proceeds from the 50 team tournament go to Camp Good Days.
    President of Wiffalo Whiffle Ball, Davis Moretta said, over the course of the past couple of years, “we gave them $13,000.00… pretty proud of that. And we’re hoping to get to five digits this time around.”

    ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB)- Police responded to a 2 car crash at a gas station on Southwestern Blvd. Saturday night.
    Officers say that 54 year-old Sylvia Lenahan, of Blasdell, appeared intoxicated at the scene and was arrested for DWI.
    Lenahan was given a breathalyzer at the Orchard Park police department which revealed a .16 BAC. She was additionally charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation since her license had been suspended for a previous alcohol

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – First responders were called after a truck jumped the embankment of the 190 South and landed on the railroad tracks below early Saturday afternoon.
    The truck was driving down Niagara Street when witnesses say the driver speed up before going over the guardrail eventually crashing onto the railroad tracks.

    BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Batavia mother is in jail without bail after being charged with killing her infant daughter shortly after giving birth at home.
    Christina M. Colantonio, 28, of 208 Liberty St., was charged with second-degree murder. She was arraigned Saturday.
