    City tearing down former drug houses
    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- U.S. Attorney William Hochul announced a historic demolition of several former drug houses in the Queen City Tuesday.
    The houses were used by the Anderson family drug organization; all members have been convicted, but Hochul said this is the first time local authorities have been able to use drug dealers’ money to tear down their houses, and that sends a message.
    One of the properties was torn down during the announcement, at 41 Deschler Street.
