    SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - A Louisiana couple faces charges that they defrauded a western Nebraska bank in a check cashing scheme.  The Scottsbluff Star-Herald reports that 24-year-old Melanie Brewster, of Monroe, Louisiana, has been charged with theft.
