  BATON ROUGE - East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man for allegedly threatening his girlfriend with a knife and sexually assaulting her. According to police documents, the victim told 20-year-old Trudell Coates that she wanted to end their relationship at a residence on Jefferson Highway. Coates threatened her with the knife saying he would "stab" and "kill" her. The victim later calmed him down and convinced him to put the knife away.&n

  LOS ANGELES - Walter Becker, the guitarist, bassist and co-founder of the rock group Steely Dan, has died. He was 67. His official website announced his death Sunday with no further details.  Donald Fagen released a statement in remembrance of his Steely Dan bandmate.
