  • Sheriff says third escape from Mississippi Delta jail caught

    CLARKSDALE, Miss. - A third escapee from a Mississippi Delta jail has been recaptured.
     The Coahoma County Sheriff's Office says officers caught LeAndrew Booker on Friday. The Clarksdale man was being held for burglary when he and three others escaped last week.
     Officials had earlier recaptured Cordarius Thomas of Clarksdale, initially jailed on charges of assault and burglary, and Percy Bryant of Clarksdale, initially jailed for aggravated assault.
