  Professional leagues have embraced fantasy sports and warmed up to gambling in recent years. Now, voters will be able to decide whether to legalize it.
  It’s the second of two statewide ballot questions: Question 2 asks Maryland voters to approve sports betting.

  ROSEDALE, MD. (WJZ) — Maryland State Police are investigating a crash that left one man dead in Baltimore County on I-695 Sunday.
  Troopers responded to I-695 at US Route 40 in Rosedale at around 12:02 a.m. for a report of a crash.
  The man, 35-year-old Bryan Thompson, of Baltimore, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was driving a motorcycle at the time of the crash.

  ANNAPOLIS (WJZ) — Maryland reports 501 new coronavirus cases overnight, and the positivity rate remains above 3% on Monday.
  As of Monday morning, the state has recorded 127,791 cases throughout the pandemic. Three more Marylanders have died, bringing the total to 3,817.
