FAIRLAND, Md. (WJZ) — Detectives in Montgomery County are trying to identify three suspects accused of robbing a 70-year-old man and 65-year-old woman.
Police say it happened Friday, August 28, early in the morning outside a home on Alpenhorn Way in Fairland.Police believe the pair were targeted, but were not hurt.
Anyone with information on this robbery, or the suspects, should call police immediately.

COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) — Almost four months ago, Marcy Myles-Clark picked up her husband from Johns Hopkins Hospital.
He’d spent 46 days in the hospital as he battled COVID-19. When he was released in early May, he’d recovered enough to return home, but he would need months of therapy.
This week, Theirrien Clark gave WJZ an update on his condition.

OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) — If you’re heading down to Ocean City, Maryland, this Labor Day weekend, make sure you have your mask.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police are investigating after a man was injured in a shooting earlier Wednesday afternoon in north Baltimore.
Officers were called to the 500 block of E. Cold Spring Lane at 2:42 p.m. for a report of a shooting, where they found a 28-year-old man had been shot in the leg.
He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Whether it’s in-person or at home, Marylanders are some of the hardest workers in the United States, a new study finds.
The WalletHub study ranked Maryland ninth in its list of the most hard-working states in the country. The study looked at the average workweek hours and the number of workers with multiple jobs, among other factors.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — An audit of the U.S. Postal Service found 68,000 political mailpieces sat unprocessed for five days at a Baltimore postal facility in May before the June 2 primary.

The recall was issued after a sample of product tested positive for listeria. Affected items have a UPC of 68826718585 and were sold between August 8 and August 19. Other UPCs are not affected, the company said.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — More than 450 new coronavirus cases were reported in Maryland as of Wednesday morning, as the number of hospitalizations slightly decreased.
A total of 109,319 COVID-19 cases were reported in Maryland over the span of the pandemic, that’s 456 more than Tuesday. Hospitalizations went down from 377 to 370, while ICU cases remain flat going up by once case since Tuesday to 113.

2 Shot In Baltimore Early Wednesday
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Two people were shot in Baltimore early Wednesday morning in two separate incidents.
Eastern district officers were called to the 1300 block of North Milton Avenue around 2:49 a.m. for a reported shooting.
There, they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
