LAUREL, Md. (WJZ) — Police in Anne Arundel County are investigating after they say they’ve received an increase in reports of indecent exposure in Laurel.
Police say community members have reported seeing unclothed individuals, and individuals exhibiting unusual behaviors along the 198 corridor adjacent to the Russett community.
Residents have also reported illegal drug distribution in the same area, according to police.

Multiple Black Bear Sightings Reported At Catoctin Mountain Park, Officials Say
THURMONT, Md. (WJZ) — Officials at Catoctin Mountain Park in western Maryland said they have received multiple reports of bear and bear cub sightings in the park in the past week.
Even with the park being closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, there have been two sightings in the past week, park biologist Becky Loncosky said.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — After dropping below 400 for the first time since March, the number of coronavirus-related hospitalizations in Maryland increased slightly Thursday as the number of confirmed cases topped 71,000, data from the state’s health department shows.
As of Thursday, 71,447 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the state.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 37-year-old man is dead a day after he was shot in northeast Baltimore Wednesday night.

Baltimore City Public Schools To Host Series Of Town Halls About Reopening In Fall
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore City Public Schools announced Wednesday it will host the first of its weekly Reopening Town Halls as part of its initiative that seeks input on the plan to reopen in the fall.
