    FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ) — Police in Frederick have released a photo of a vehicle believed to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run in the city last month.
    The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. on December 18 in the unit block of Hillcrest Drive. Police said bystanders found the victim, 58-year-old Richard Shelton, on the side of the road suffering from obvious trauma.

    WOODBINE, Md. (WJZ) — A Woodbine couple was found guilty of 16 counts of animal cruelty charges.
    Glenn Hopple, 58, and Candace Berry, 66, were found guilty by a Howard County District Court Judge on Thursday.
    Hopple and Berry, both of the 16400 block of Frederick Road, were charged in October with failing to provide sufficient food, shelter, space and veterinary care to the animals, and causing unnecessary pain and suffering.

    Baltimore Police: Officer Hit In The Face While Breaking Up Fight Between Juveniles
    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Baltimore Police officer was hit in the face while trying to break up a fight involving two juveniles in northeast Baltimore on Thursday afternoon.
    Police say the officer saw two juveniles fighting in the 5000 block of Sinclair Lane just before 3 p.m. When the officer stepped in to break up the fight, she was hit in the face.
    The officer sustained minor injuries.
    The two juveniles were arrested at the scene by other responding officers.

    The west side/leg of N. Charles Street will close for the Walters Art Museum Lunar New Year Celebration, which goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
