    The dog works with the US Custom and Border Protection Narcotics Team.
    Agents say the drugs were in four packages headed to the Netherlands and Amsterdam.
    Officers estimate the street value to be worth about $5,300.

    Justin Carter, 34, was arrested Thursday in Taneytown without incident and charged with assault and handgun crimes.
    Last Saturday, police say he opened fire on an occupied car at the intersection of Church Street and Charles Street in Westminster.
    No one was hurt in the shooting.

    William Cox, 55, pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual offense and one count of second-degree rape.
    Cox was prosecuted for the abuse which began in 1979 and continued through 1986.
    The victim was seven when the abuse began.
    The abuse was reported to officials once the victim became an adult.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A drug investigation in north Baltimore led police to a cache of drugs, guns and ammunition, officials said Thursday.
    Community members tipped off officers from the Baltimore Police Department’s Eastern District about drug activity in the 2400 block of Greenmount Avenue. After an investigation, officers and BPD’s SWAT Team recovered several guns, drugs and ammunition, police said.One person was also arrested as a result of the investigation.

    EDGEWOOD, Md. (WJZ) — Deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a stabbing in Edgewood.

    WASHINGTON (WJZ) — The Centers for Disease Control now report there have been at least 60 deaths linked to vaping across the country.
    More than 2,500 people have been injured after using electronic cigarettes. Fifty-seven of those injuries have been reported in Maryland.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Baltimore man pleaded guilty Thursday to being the getaway driver in connection with two armed bank robberies last year.
    According to his guilty plea, Richard Adams, 59, drove his armed co-defendants, who were wearing masks and gloves, in a gray rental car to a bank in the 3600 block of Boston Street on January 23.
