    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 38-year-old man has been charged with assaulting two police officers after allegedly dragging the officers with a vehicle as he fled a traffic stop in Baltimore on Thursday, police said.
    Police said officers tried to stop a vehicle in the 300 block of North Eutaw Street on Thursday evening. The driver, Jimmie Ford, didn’t stop and hit a police car.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 31-year-old man was injured in a shooting in west Baltimore Thursday evening, police said.
    Officers were called to an area hospital shortly after 4:50 p.m. for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
    The victim reportedly suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Police did not specify the extent of the man’s injuries.
    Police said officers later learned the shooting happened in the 1800 block of West North Avenue.

    Morgan State University Exploring Partnership To Bring New Medical School To Its Campus
    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Morgan State University could get a new medical school by as soon as 2023 if a strategic partnership pans out.
    The university said Thursday its board of regents has approved issuing a letter of intent to partner with Salud Education to create a College of Osteopathic Medicine.
    University officials said it would be a first-of-its-kind for a historically black college or university and would be the first new medical school to launch at an HBCU in decades.
