    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Black Friday 2019 was the biggest ever for online shopping, and Cyber Monday is expected to top it.
    It’s estimated online shoppers will spend $9.4 billion on Monday alone.
    With dreary skies over Baltimore Monday, it was a perfect day to score some deals from the comfort of home.

    (CNN) — Women are at risk of giving birth early due to warmer temperatures brought on by the climate crisis, a new study finds.
    The study, published Monday in the journal Nature Climate Change, found that on days when temperatures soar past 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32.2 degrees Celsius), birth rates increase 5%. Births rates are also elevated on the following day, perhaps because labor and delivery continued into the next day, the study said. After temperatures drop, birth rates decrease.

    NOTTINGHAM, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County police are investigating after a car drove into a home in Nottingham Monday morning.

    State Police Investigating Fatal Crash In Mechanicsville
    MECHANICSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — Maryland State Police are investigating a crash in St. Mary’s County that killed a Morganza, Maryland man on Saturday.
    Shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday night, troopers responded to the area of Dr. Johnson Road and Kelly Cottage Lane in Mechanicsville, where they learned that a 2017 Nissan Rogue crossed the center line for unknown reasons and entered into oncoming traffic.
    The driver, identified as 50-year-old Joseph Smith, was pronounced dead at the scene.
