    GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — A federal judge has agreed to postpone a trial for a Virginia National Guard soldier charged with stealing World War II-era dog tags from the National Archives and Records Administration in Maryland.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in Charles County early Tuesday morning.
    Shortly before 4 a.m., troopers responded to southbound Maryland Route 5 in the area of Montgomery Lane in Waldorf, Md.

    PORT DEPOSIT, Md. (WJZ) — A firefighter was injured battling a barn fire in Cecil County Monday afternoon.
    The state fire marshal’s office said the blaze broke out just before 12:30 p.m. on Anchor Hope Lane in Port Deposit.
    One firefighter was taken to a local hospital, treated and released. No one else was hurt.
    It took crews about 90 minutes to bring the flames under control.
